A/C Closing Stock

To inputthe closing stock’s amount at the end of each month

  • Month / Year: Input the month and year to do the closing stock record

  • ①: A/C Closing Stock History: To check the closing stock’s history and corresponding voucher no.

  • ②: Jump to the previous month’s closing stock interface

  • ③: Jump to next month’s closing stock interface

  • A/C Stock: Account Code preset in [System Setting > System Account Setting]

  • Stock Name: Preset in [Master File > Chart of Account]

  • Opening Stock: Retrieve closing stock from the previous month

  • Closing Stock: Input by user

  • Closing stock will become next month’s opening stock

  • A/C Closing Stock must be entered by user month by month to equal the balance

  • Closing Stock must be done monthly and entered in this interface. If it is done annually, enter last fiscal year’s closing stock monthly in the system

  • A voucher will be generated to credit stock and debit Closing Stock. Date can be searched in

  • Stock Voucher No.: If the closing stock of the current month varies from the amount of the previous month, system will be automatically generating a voucher with a no.: STKYYYYMM

  • If the closing stock of the current month equals to the amount of the previous month, system will not be generated any vouchers. There will be an “x” after Voucher No

  • Click [...] to view the Voucher

  • In addition to entering the ending inventory by themselves, users can also press [Generate] to extract the total cost in the inventory report as the ending inventory

Enter opening stock before using the system

  • Balance Sheet

    • Enter the closing balance of last financial year, as the example mentioned above (Entering Opening Voucher before using the system), user could enter 12/2017 as the date and amount = 55000​

  • Trial Balance

    • Enter the opening balance of current financial year, as the example mentioned above (Entering Opening Voucher before using the system), user could enter stock balance as at 01/2017and 12/2017; The balance as at 01/2017 and 12/2017 is 15000 and 55000 respectively
